T. L. Womack Graveside Funeral services will be held at Garden of Memory Cemetery 
in Colbert at 2 p.m. Monday for former Colbert resident  T.L. Womack, 86, of 
Alamogordo, N.M. The Rev. Randa Norman will officiate. He was a retired school teacher, 
a member of the United Methodist Church, Masonic Elks Lodge, Alamogordo Rotary Club, 
Bass Club and Chamber of Commerce.  Mr. Womack was born Dec. 4, 1912, in Dybole, Texas. 
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and a sister. 
Bratcher's Funeral Home of Colbert is handling the arrangements.

Typhoid fever claimed the life of a Pioneer Oakland resident, David Bowie Lynn, 72, 
at 7 o'clock Sunday morning, following and illness of about ten days. Funeral services 
were held at 3 o'clock Monday afternoon at the Church of Christ, Oakland. 
Rev. Ira Womack, Sulphur, was in charge of the services.

November 1, 1956 Services held Tuesday for Mrs. S. A. Womack Funeral Services 
were held Tuesday for Mrs. Juanita Blanche WOMACK, 51, wife of Andrew WOMACK 
of 505 S. 11th, Ponca City, who died about 11:30 am Saturday following a sudden 
heart attack. Services were in charge of the Grace Memorial Chapel in Ponca City. 
Interment was in Pixley Cemetery in the Bend. In poor health for the past several 
years, Mrs. WOMACK was born October 26, 1905 at Joplin, MO and moved with her 
family while still a small child to Neodesha, KS. She attended school there and 
came with the family to Oklahoma in 1926. On October 15, 1927, she married 
S. A. WOMACK at Newkirk and they established their home on a farm near Ralston 
where they lived until moving to Ponca City, six years ago. A member of the 
Christian Church, Mrs. WOMACK is survived by her husband of the home, a son, 
Sammy Ray, also of the home and two daughters: Sharon Kay of the home and Mrs. 
Anita GROGAN, Selfridge, Michigan; Two Brothers: Cecil L. MILLER, Ponca City, 
and Charles B. MILLER, Abilene, TX. Five Sisters: Mrs. Vera LYNN, Elgin, KS; 
Mrs. Luther FREEMAN, and Mrs. Homer CHRISTY, both of Ralston; Mrs. Frank WHITE, 
Hewins, KS; Mrs. Bill EVANS, Abilene, TX and two grandchildren. 

December 1978 "Services Today for S.A. Womack" Funeral services for 
Samuel Andrew WOMACK, 73-year old Garber, Okla. resident, will be 2 p.m. today 
(Thursday) December 21, in the chapel of Hunsaker Funderal Home with Rev. 
George Weston, pastor of the First Christian church, officiating. Interment will 
be in Pixley cemetery. He was born June 12, 1905 in Tennessee, the son of 
James I. WOMACK and Nora Belle McKNIGHT WOMACK, and moved to Oklahoma with his 
parents in 1907, and lived in Ponca City for approximately 20 years where he was 
employed by Butram Pipe Line company. Survivors include one son, Sammy R. WOMACK; 
two daughters, Anita GROGAN and Sharon MANNISS; three sisters, Tima GOAD of Fairfax, 
Hattie VREDENBURG of Bartlesville, and Virginia PRICE of Hurst, Texas; four brothers, 
Elmer of Ardmore, Claude of Tyler, Texas, Clyde of Duncan, and Bennie of Wichita, 
Kan.; nine grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, several other more distant 
relatives and many friends. His wife preceded him in death.
