Mary first married to George Wills/Wells/Willis. Both John (Cole) and Mary were previously married. Mary's WILL dated 15 Apr 1818, probated 18 Sep 1821 in Lunenburg Co., Va. Mary Cole's WILL Lunenburg Co., Va.; WILL Book 1811-1888 pg 25; Film reel 2, Prince Edwards Deeds 19 Aug 1772-per Marital agreement, John Cole & Mary Wills: W.B. 6 pg 221 18 Mar 1808 Lunenburg Co., Va.; acct of sales to Mary Cole; to Josiah Cole; to Nunn Cole to Letty Cole. DEED & WILL BOOK 1811-1888 PG 25 LUNENBURG CO VA 15 Apr 1818, WILL of Mary Cole In the name of almighty God amen. I Mary Cole of Lunnburg Co. and State of Va. do hereby make this my last will and testament in manner and form following that is to say: 1st I give and bequeath to my son JOSIAH COLE one hundred dollars and three cows and calves to him and his heirs forever. 2nd I give and bequeath to my son GEORGE COLE one hundred dollars and his hiers forever. 3rd I give and bequeath to DESDOMA WELLS fifty dollars to her an her heirs forever. 4th I give and bequeath to my daughter MARY WAMMOCK fifty dollars and one feather bed an furniture to her and her heirs forever. 5th I give and bequeath to my daughter SUSANNAH STEGALL one negro woman by the name of Cole and one feather bed and furniture to her and her heirs forever. 6th I give and bequeath to my son NUNN COLE two silver dollars to him and his heirs forever. 7th I give and bequeath to my daughter LETTY COMMER two silver dollars to her and her heirs forever. 8th Lastly I give and bequeath the residue of whatever kind it maybe to grandson ALBERT COLE to him and his heirs forever, and appoint my son JOSIAH COLE executor to this my last will and testament revoking any former WILL made by me. I testimony wherof I have herunto set my hand and seal this 15th day of April 1818. Signed sealed and delivered in presence of: Merewether Hurt & JACOB WOMACK Mary Cole her mark and seal. In Lunenburg Superior Court 18th September 1821.
